About this place
Located directly at the foot of the stairs at Higashi-Nagasaki Station, Matsuya operates around the clock, 24 hours a day. Whether grabbing a quick bite between errands, sitting down for an early-morning breakfast, or picking up a late-night supper, diners can stop by anytime without keeping an eye on the clock.
The flagship Premium Gyumeshi comes served with miso soup and roasted black sesame shichimi chili pepper, making it the standard choice for an efficient, hearty meal. For something different, diners can opt for the Umakara Negitama Gyumeshi tossed with spicy sauce and egg, a rich cheese gyumeshi blended with red cheddar, or a lighter beef bowl topped with grated daikon radish and citrusy ponzu.
When a more substantial spread is in order, the menu offers beef kalbi yakiniku sets, pork shoulder loin ginger sets, and Matsuya's original recipe beef curry. Meals can easily be customized with add-ons—upgrading standard miso soup to hearty tonjiru pork miso soup, or adding a fresh salad and egg set from the small bowl selections.
Breakfast brings dedicated options such as raw egg over rice with a choice of side dish or the classic sausage and egg set meal, catering to whatever start to the day suits your appetite. Everything can be enjoyed inside or ordered for takeout, serving as a reliable station-side kitchen on the go.
